Who We Are
Wakota Community Awareness and Emergency Response (CAER) is a nonprofit organization dedicated disaster mobilization in southern Washington and northern Dakota counties. We are committed to protecting communities and the environment. Our members represent government, industry, school districts, and first response agencies.
What We Do
Wakota CAER has been helping its members and the surrounding communities achieve a high level of emergency response and prevention readiness for natural disasters, potential fires and explosions, chemical release emergencies, and other major hazards. We develop community emergency response plans, exercises and training with industry and public safety agencies.

Boom School Dates Set for 2010 Season - The Inland Waterways Oil Spill Responder Training, better known as Boom School, dates are set for 2010. The full 3 day course which includes water safety will be July 20 to July 22. One day refresher courses will be August 18th, and September 2nd. All training will take place at Marathon Petroleum in St Paul Park. Registration Forms are available either here or by contacting info@wakotacaer.org.
